During the league stage of the competition, each of the ten franchises will compete in a total of 14 games: seven at home and seven at the opponent’s home. The league matches will continue for 52 days in 12 different locations. The last game will take place on 28th May, and the timing and location of the playoffs and the final will get determined later. On the day of the doubleheader, the matches in the evening will begin at 7:30 PM IST, while the afternoon matches will start at 3:30 PM IST.

The BCCI announced the IPL 2023 schedule on 17th February 2023. There will be 74 matches played over 12 different locations, with ten teams competing. Out of these 74 matches, 70 league matches and four playoff matches.
