World Happiness Index 2022 Country wise Rank & Report

With this year’s Globe Happiness Reflect, which utilizes global survey data to report how people rate their lives in more than 150 nations worldwide, the World Happiness Report will celebrate its tenth anniversary. The World Happiness index 2022 sheds light on a ray of hope in these terrible times. Not only did the pandemic cause agony and suffering, but it also resulted in an upsurge in social assistance and charity.

According to the world happiness index, the World Happiness Report is an indicator of global happiness. The rankings are based on reports of respondents’ assessments of their own lives, and articles on national happiness are included. The report also compares with other elements that influence (quality of) life. As of March 2022, According to the World Happiness Report, Finland was named the happiest nation in the world five times in a row. The latest calculation is yet to be announced. This report was primarily based on the Gallup World Poll. World Happiness Reports can be downloaded on the website, and a video accompanies each report. The 2020 study was edited by John F. Helliwell, Richard Layard, Jeffrey D. Sachs, and Jan-Emmanuel De Neve among other Cambridge professors. As associate editors for this volume, Lara Aknin, Shun Wang, and Haifang Huang are involved.

According to the World Happiness Report, Finland ranked the happiest nation globally for the fifth consecutive year. A new report, released two days before the annual International Day of Happiness, was released by the UN’s Sustainable Development Solutions Network. It rates 150 nations (146 in 2022) based on personal well-being, levels of GDP, life expectancy, and other quality of life measures. Based on an average of data collected over three years and a mathematical formula, the list, which is now in its tenth year, awards a score from 0 to 10.

    • It is really surprising to many. If the report is to be believed then it can be questioned also. Some one should be responsible to answer this, why Bhutan is not included in the survey which is no doubt a happy country.

    • THis very concept was introduced by the King of Bhutan… later west hijacked it and as usual paint it with their own ways…. hence Bhutan is not in the list…. and no other asian country either. As such, do not give any credence to such reports written by some small group of people sitting in a corner in some western country having absolutely no clue of ground realities of any country

  7. Happiness is based on GDP , availability of essentials , and feeling security and finally the attitude of people. Bhutan is definitely a happy country , they may not have responded to the questionnaire at the time of assessment

  10. Its only west propaganda. After killing blacks, Sikhs and several protest, USA is in the list. More irony, after truckers protest and Justin Trudeau’s dictatorship by freezing protestors account, which Indian PM never did after farmers protest, still both country are in top 20, also all colonial powers like UK, France, etc are also in the list. If these colonial countries never colonized the world, then almost every country would have been happy. What a irony, they removed Bhutan from the list.
