Earlier, the UKPSC Patwari exam was scheduled on January 8, 2023, and the admit cards were circulated online on December 27, 2022, on the official website of the Uttarakhand Government.

But in their first notification released on January 13, 2023, the government conveyed to the candidates that the exam has been repealed and the re-exam will be conducted on February 12, 2023. But again, in their notification, the government changed the exam date to February 19, 2023.
UKPSC Patwari Re-Exam Date 2023
Currently, the UKPSC Patwari exam will be conducted on February 19, 2023, for over 1.4 lakh students. The examination paper has been leaked twice, and Uttarakhand police arrested people who leaked the paper. And this time, the officials will have to take almost care of the exam set papers.
Authorities released a notification in mid-2022, mentioning that there are 563 vacancies for Patwari and Lekhpal(also known as Revenue Sub Inspectors) in the Revenue Department across Uttarakhand. There are a total of 391 vacancies for Patwari and 172 vacancies for the Lekhpal position. Application registration started on August 14, 2022, and was open until November 10, 2022.
Admit Card Date for UKPSC Patwari Re-Exam 2023
All the applicants who registered earlier on www.psc.uk.gov.in, from the period of August 14, 2022, to December 10, 2022, will be able to appear for the UKPSC Patwari Re-Exam. The authorities have not yet made any official announcement regarding the admit card release for re-exam. Still, the admit card/hall ticket will probably be released in the first week of February 2023. We will surely update you with the exact date once the official announcement is made by the authorities through notification.
How to Download Admit Card for UKPSC Patwari Re-Exam 2023
The older admit cards will not be applicable in the re-exam. The direct link to download the admit card will be updated once the official news is made. Despite using a direct link, candidates can also download new admit cards using the following steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission(UKPSC), that is, psc.uk.gov.in/.
Step 2: Click on the option Admit Card on the portal and then select Lekhpal / Patwari Examination 2022-23 option from the list.
Step 3: After that, you will be redirected to the page where you will see the option “Admit Card for Lekhpal / Patwari Examination 2023” popping up on your screen. Tap on that option.
Step 4: Log in with the credentials you used during registration, and you will get the option to download your admit card.
Step 5: Click the Download option and find the admit card in the downloaded tap.
Step 6: Print out your admit card. You can also have two more printed copies for safety.

Exam Pattern and Timings for UKPSC Patwari Re-Exam 2023
Written Test: The first round of the screening process starts with a written test, which will be conducted as follows:
- The mode of the exam will be offline.
- The paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions.
- The maximum time allotted to complete the examination is 120 minutes.
- The paper will have three sections, including 20 questions from General Hindi, 40 from General Knowledge & General Studies, and 40 from Uttarakhand General Knowledge.
- Each question carries a weightage of 1 mark.
- There will be negative markings done. One-fourth mark will be deducted for each negative/wrong answer.
- Candidates from general and OBC categories will have to score at least 45% marks, and people from other categories need to score at least 35% to clear the written exam.
Physical Test: Candidates must appear for a Physical test after clearing the written test. The physical test will be conducted as follows:
- Male candidates must run 7km in 60 minutes, and females must run 3.5km in 35 minutes for the Patwari post.
- Male candidates must run 9km in 60 minutes, and females must run 4.5km in 35 minutes for the Lekhpal post.
Interview: The candidates who will be able to clear the written test and physical test will get to appear in the Interview process. Those who can clear interviews will be recruited for the posts of Patwari and Lekhpal.
