The National Means cum Merit Scholarship Exam will release the NMMS Result of the exam. Indian Government conducts NMMS state-wise. The students who clear this examination are eligible for a scholarship of 12000 Rs per annum. It is a national-level scholarship scheme organised by Human Resouce & Development. After passing the exam, candidates are called for document verification. After the documents are verified, the candidates have to open a personal bank account and give its details to the NMMS authorities.

The students of the economically weaker section, i.e. parental income less than a certain amount decided by the state government(Three Lacks and Fifty Thousand), are eligible to apply for this examination. These scholarships are paid directly into the bank account of the students quarterly. The students of KV’s and Navodaya schools are not eligible to apply for these exams. Many of the state governments had already conducted the NMMS examination, and the students who were present in it are eagerly waiting for their results. NMMS Result Release Date & Link 2023

The students who had already given the examination for the batch of 2023-24 will get their results soon, in the month of January to March. The number of seats is different in each state, and also the seats are divided district-wise and category-wise. To become eligible for the scholarship, students have to be on the merit list of the district. Also, the candidates have to score a minimum of 40% marks to be suitable. But for SC and ST category students, a minimum of 32% marks is required. The handicapped candidates will be given a 3% reservation.

The candidates who get cleared in the NMMS will have to take admitted to a Government school in class 9. After taking admission, the students have to register on the National Scholarship Portal and will have to renew each year till class 12th. After registration or renewal, the institute head and district education officer verify it. Results for the National Means cum Merit Scholarship Exam were released on the official website of NMMS. After the examination, the students can check whether they are selected for the scholarship through the merit list. Students who get marks above the cut-off marks will get their names on the merit list. The merit list is available on the state SSCERT’s official website. The notification section has the link. In the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship exam, there are two papers organised, SAT and MAT. To get the scholarship, the students must meet cut-off marks. Generally, the cut-off marks of the general category are 110 to 115 marks. The OBC category has 100 to 105 marks, and the SC-ST category has a 90 to 95 mark cut-off. The candidates must score 70% marks to get this scholarship.
