New Zealand Tour of India 2023

The tour of New Zealand in India is scheduled from 18th January 2023. There will be three One Day International matches and three T20 matches. This tour is an international bilateral series, a component of Future Tour Programs informed by the International Cricket Council.

The team for ODI has already been announced by New Zealand for the ODI tour, but for T20 matches, the name of players are not revealed. India has not revealed its team for both series. Currently, India is playing with Sri Lanka. There are two series to play, three matches twenty-20 and three one-day international matches. On the other side, New Zealand is playing the ODI series with Pakistan. Earlier, they played a test series with Pakistan in which both tests were drawn.

The schedule for this tour is all set to play from 18th January. Match detail with date and time are as follows.

  • The first match is on 18th January from 2:00 PM.
  • The second is in Raipur, on 21st Jan at the same time.
  • The third ODI timing is also the same, scheduled at Indore on the 24th of January.
  • T20’s series match starts on 27 Jan in Ranchi from 7:00 PM.
  • The second is on 29 Jan in Lucknow, at the same time.
  • The third is on 1 February.

The first match will be ODI, and the venue is Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, situated in Hyderabad. The second One day match is in Raipur, and the third is in Indore’s Holkar Cricket Stadium. Twenty-20 matches will begin on 27 January. The first match is in JSCA International Stadium Complex situated in Ranchi. The second match is in Lucknow’s Ekana Cricket Stadium, and the third is in the world’s biggest stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The demand for this tour is very high due to the future tour program. In the present series, India won the Twenty-20 series against Sri Lanka. Due to this, the demands for tickets for upcoming series are very high. For the series, the tickets will be available to buy in a few days. Fans can buy the tickets online mode which is easier to manage.

To buy online tickets, follow the procedure.

  • Look for a website to buy tickets and choose the sports category.
  • Log in using your credentials or register.
  • Now find India vs New Zealand ODI and T20 tickets. Choose the match and click next.
  • A new tab or page will open, specifying all the details of the match will open
  • Choose the seat type and the required number of tickets, and now click on book.
  • Check the details and complete the payment using UPI or any other online method.
  • You will receive an email after the confirmation of the ticket.

New Zealand Tour of India Players 2023

New Zealand has already revealed its team for the ODI series in the tour of India. Batsman and off-spin bowler Kane Williamson is on rest and will not play any of the matches of this tour. Batsman and an alternate wicketkeeper, Tom Latham, will take responsibility for the ODI in this tour. Latham is announced as a captain and wicketkeeper for the ODI series. The team for T20 has not been announced yet. India has not revealed its team for ODIs as well as for the T20 series. Matt Henry and Adam Milne will not play this series as they are injured. Blair Tickner and Doug Bracewell are in the team in place of Adam and Matt.

All-rounders Bracewell, Mark Champman, Daryl and Santer are in the team for ODI. Batsmen Henry Nicholls, Finn Allen, Devon Conway and Glenn Phillps, and bowlers including Jacob Duffy, Lockie Ferguson, Bracewell, Tickner, Henry and Ish Sodhi are in the squad. India has not announced its team for both series, but it is expected that the players who are playing in the series against Sri Lanka will be on the New Zealand tour of India.
