Lunar Eclipse 2023

A Lunar eclipse is a celestial event that happens when the Earth’s shadow partially or entirely covers the Moon, causing the Moon to be darkened or disappear for a while. This astronomical event occurs every six months when the orbital plane of the Moon is nearest to the orbit of the Earth during the full moon phase. The Sun, Moon, and Earth are closest and lined up in one line during this phase. There are a total of five lunar eclipses, i.e., the Penumbral Lunar Eclipse, Partial Lunar Eclipse, Total Lunar Eclipse, Central Lunar Eclipse, and Selenelion.
