Indira Gandhi National Open University, also known as IGNOU was established in 1985 with Rs 20 million. It is controlled and run by the Government of India. It is the largest university in the world with a total active enrollment of more than 4 million students. This university is located in Maidan Garhi, New Delhi. The decentralised process was started by this university by setting up five zones in India. It also executed the CBCS method for Bachelor’s degree students. Through this method, the examination is completed through the semester system which was before through annual mode.

A grade card is the mark sheet of the students in which grades of various assessments, projects, theories, etc. are present. IGNOU has recently conducted the term-end examination in December month of 2022. The grade card for this session will be released by the authority of the university on its official website. Once the result is declared, the grade card will also be released by the university. The students who have applied for evaluation will also get their grade cards after the result is announced.
IGNOU Grade Card Dispatch Status 2023
Many of the students don’t know how to check the dispatch status of their grade cards. IGNOU sends the grade cards and all other certificates to the students once they complete the degree. The IGNOU Grade card dispatch process is done in offline mode and the students should not visit their regional office as it is completed by the head office situated in Delhi. There is no procedure to be done by the students and also it is not needed to submit an application form to get the Grade Card. This is an automatic process and the mark sheet and the other documents are sent to the registered address of the students.
In various cases, some students receive their grade cards before other students, if your friend received a grade card then you don’t have to worry. Just keep in touch with the post office, which will deliver your grade card to you. Sometimes it may take up to 40 days to get delivered. Students can now track their mark sheet if it is dispatched from the university. If you don’t find the status then it is not dispatched yet or it is available to collect at your regional office. Students can know the exact status by raising a complaint at igram.ignou.ac.in.
