The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) organizes the Bihar ITI CAT Examination annually to provide admissions to students into the various government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) colleges and institutes in the state of Bihar.

Students will get admission based on their scores in the Bihar Industrial Training Institute Competitive Admission Test (ITI CAT). The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) conducts the entrance examination in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. There are 150 Objective Type Questions for 300 marks in the questions paper.

Of 150 questions, 50 are related to General Knowledge, 50 are related to General Science, and 50 are related to Mathematics. All the participants get 2 hours and 15 minutes to solve the question paper. There are three sections in the question paper and no negative marking. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) will upload the call letter or admit card 7 to 10 days before the examination.

Registration fee/charge for the Unreserved/ General/ Other Backward Classes/ Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories is INR 750. For the Person with Disability (PwD) category, the fee is INR 430, and for Schedule Caste (SC) & Schedule Tribe (ST) categories, the fee is INR 100.

BCECEB ITI Notification 2023

According to the notification, aspirants who have cleared class 10th with at least passing marks from any recognized university or institute are eligible to apply for the entrance test.
