West Bengal Board of Primary Education shoulders the responsibility of conducting the TET exam. The exam was held to check the qualification of the candidates to become the teachers of the students in Classes I to V. The TET exam was held on 11 Dec 22.
WBBPE Cut off Marks 2023
The Teacher Eligibility Test-2023 (TET-2023) exam cut off will be shared by the Board authorities. The cut off will only determine the candidates who are qualified to apply for the teacher post. The cut off will be based on the factors such as:
- The number of applicants who appeared to give the TET exam.
- The difficulty level of the WBBPE TET 2023 exam.
- The TET’s previous year cut off was held in WB.
- The number of vacancies that were shared for Classes I to V.
TET-2023 Qualifying Percentage
The candidates who have given the examination must be aware that the qualifying mark as per the Board is 60% or above of the total marks, that is, 150. The candidates who will be able to get this percentage will be considered as TET 2023 passed candidates.
The relaxation is given to SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PH, EC, and Ex-Servicemen categories of 5%; their qualifying percentage would be 55%.
WB Merit list Download
The merit list will have the names of the shortlisted candidates. It will inform about the scores achieved by the candidates. The category the applicants belong to. The PDF document of the merit list will be uploaded by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
The candidates can download the merit list from the official portal of the Board. They have to look for the merit list link. Then as they click the link, the TET merit list will be downloaded into their system.
How to Check WB TET Result 2023?
Lakhs of candidates appear to give the exam and get the post of teacher. The candidates can now check the result who gave West Bengal’s TET exam this year. The following steps will help you in checking the result.

- Then select the Teacher Eligibility Test, 2023 (TET-2023) link.
- Then as the page opens, enter all the required details, such as the registration number and passwords.

- Downlaod the result after taking a screenshot.
- The Board will provide you with the official; certificate in some week.

TET-2023 Certificate Validity Period
Those who successfully be able to secure 60% or more than that will be issued a TET Certificate by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education/. The validity of the TET 2023 Certificate for appointment will be for a lifetime. The rule is the same for all the categories of candidates.
One can give as many attempts as one wants. Moreover, if one has appeared and achieved the TET Certificate but he/she wants to improve their scores, they or can also give the exam again next year. The Board provides the model question paper to help out the candidates prepare better.
