The SSC JE examination was held this month and now the release of the answer key is been awaited by the candidates. The Computer-based exam was held to select the most suitable candidates for the post of Junior Engineer. The answer key will be provided within less than a week of exam conduction. The candidates will be able to download the answer sheet from the official portal of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The exam was to fill up JE posts in various departments, Ministries, and Organizations in the Government of India.
SSC Jr. Engineer Exam Review 2023
The exam was held for the group-B posts. The two-hour exam was especially based on the questions from the syllabus. The exam consisted the general intelligence, general awareness as well as questions from the respective selected branch of engineering. The exam was a total of 200 marks. The candidates who gave the first shift exam are sharing their views on the difficulty level of the exam.

SSC Jr. Engineer Exam Selection Process:
The mode of selection will be based on the points mentioned in the SSC notification advertisement. A few points are listed below:
- The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the normalised marks. Considering their categories to be selected for Paper 2nd.
- The Commission will decide the cut off for each section in part 1. The cut off will be based on the number of vacancies and categories of the candidates.
- The allocation of the candidates in various Ministries, Departments, and Organizations will be based on both Paper 1 and paper 2. The preference of the candidates will also be considered here.
- The final selection will be entirely on the basis of the merit-cum-preferences of Post(s) or department(s)
