This American animated show, Rick and Morty, is science fiction sitcom series on Cartoon Network, which is a block of Adult Swim. Overall, 61 episodes are completed in the previous seasons, including 11 episodes in the first and ten episodes each in the next five seasons.
Rick and Morty were renewed for 70 episodes in 2018. These episodes started with season four in 2019. Ten episodes were consumed with season four, after which 20 more episodes were shown in the next two seasons. In total, 30 episodes in the three seasons have been done. The remaining 40 episodes will take Rick and Morty to the tenth season. We can only wait for the next season to release, which we can expect in the summer of 2023.
After the order of Adult Swim, a long-term deal was signed with the creators of Rick and Morty. However, it is yet to be discovered how the remaining 40 episodes will take how many seasons to complete.

The writers of Rick and Morty have started their work for season 7, as confirmed by the writer Alex Rubens in a tweet. Harmon also confirmed the work by tweeting. So, after waiting for a long time, the wait of fans of Rick and Morty will be over in a few months as the writers have started working on the upcoming season.
Alex Rubens, the writer of Rick and Morty season, had twitted that he started working on season 7, but it was shared as a joke. The tweet says, “Am I allowed to say we started writing Rick and Morty Season 7 (If not, we didn’t, and I’m not).” But the fans do not have to panic as Dan Harmon confirms it by adding a comment. He stated, “I think we’re working on Season 7 right now; I can’t even keep track. I wouldn’t know if I were spoiling Season 5 or Season 6.”
The writers who worked in the previous seasons are expected to work in season 7. Apart from Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, the other writers are Jessica Gao, Jeff Loveness, Mike McMahan and Ryan Ridley.
