Which clubs have the potential to be surprised? A team of champions from Africa is Senegal, a perennial contender among the better teams in Group A, including the hosts Qatar. A 32-team group stage will be followed by a 16-team knockout stage, with the top two teams qualifying.

    • It’s Football you can support whom ever regardless of origin, religion etc etc. I love the French team because of how they play not where their players are originally from. For your info, there are 5 African teams in a he World Cup and guess what ALL THEIR PLAYERS ARE AFRICAN. Should they have more support than France according to your logic. Enjoy the World Cup and hope your team has a good run.
