The story of this series starts with an unexpected family tragedy, Cha Hyun-soo, a member of that family, leaves his home and reaches an apartment which is full of mysterious things. The apartment was full of monsters, and he was then unable to escape from the building. Several other people were also trapped in the building with Cha Hyun-soo.

The monsters were secretly waiting for them, and if any of them came in contact with the monsters, then they also became the same. So, Chaa Hyun-soo and the other residents decide to face the monsters and also protect themself in the hope of living as long as they can. In the end, many monsters were killed, and several residents were also dead or became monsters. Thus, the next season can follow the survival of these people in the apartment.
