The Staff Selection Commission for the SSC Constable GD exam announced that results for the SSC GD examination would be declared in March 2023. We can expect the results by the last week of March 2023. The results will be available in pdf format on the official SSC GD website, @ssc.nic.in. Step 1: Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at ssc.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the Result icon in the top left corner of the portal.

Step 3: Check for SSC GD Constable Exam 2023 Result in the most recent date and click on that link.

SSC GD Result 2023 Hiring Process

There will be several rounds in the hiring process for the position of SSC GD by the commission. We have mentioned the phases in detail below:

Phase 1: Computer-Based Examination

• The duration of the examination will be 90 minutes.
• There are a total of 100 comprising 25 questions each from sections General Intelligence & Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics, General Knowledge & General Awareness, and English/Hindi.
• Each question will carry a weightage of 100 marks.
• For each negative answer, one-fourth mark will be deducted.

Phase 2: Physical Efficiency Test

• For candidates other than the Ladakh region: Males must run 5 km in 24 minutes. Females must run 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes.
• For candidates belonging to the Ladakh region: Males must run 1.6 km in 6.5 minutes. Females must run 800 meters in 4 minutes.

Phase 3: Physical Standard Test 

• The height of the male must be 170 cm, and the female must be 157 cm.
• The chest of males should be expanded by 80 cm with and minimum expansion of 5 cm.
• The weight of the males and females should be proportionate to their height.

Phase 4: Detailed Medical Examination 

• All the medical examinations will be conducted under the guidance of SSC’s medical team.
• The original documents of the candidates will be verified in the same phase.

SSC GD Result 2023 Meri List

The candidates will be moved to the next phase of the hiring process after clearing the first phase of the Computer-Based Examination. The exams for the first phase are going on now and will end on February 14, 2023. The Staff Selection Commission will select the candidates based on their performances and the cut-off marks for SSC GD Exam 2023(which are yet to be announced by the commission). The council will prepare and upload the merit list on its official website. The applicants whose names will be mentioned in the merit list will move to the next round of the process.
