Chhattisgarh TET Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: The applicants must be citizens of India.
Educational Qualification:
- For Primary Level (Class I–V): Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or are in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- For Upper Primary Level (Classes 6–8): Candidates must have passed Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or be in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) OR Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Age Limit: You can apply for CG TET at any age.
Chhattisgarh TET Selection Process
The CG TET 2023 has a two-step selection process. In the first stage, you take a written exam. In the second stage, you check your documents and make the final choice.
Written Exam: Applicants who meet the requirements must attend the written exam. The exam has two parts: Paper 1 is for students who want to teach grades 1 through 5, and Paper 2 is for those who wish to teach classes 6 through 8. The exam takes place offline and has questions with more than one answer.
Document Verification and Final Selection: Those passing the written exam should bring their documents for verification. Certificates of Education, mark sheets, proof of age, category certificates (if applicable), and any other relevant documents will get reviewed.
