Assam GDS Result 2023
The Assam Post Office recruitment for the post of GDS was initiated to select the best candidate. The exam was also held to recruit Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster apart from Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS).
The result will be provided to the candidates, and they will be called for the next phase. The government is going to provide around Rs 12,000 to 29,380 to the BPM recruits and Rs 10,000 to 24,470 to those who will be shortlisted for the Dak Sevak/ABPM post.
Assam GDS Post Office 407 Posts
The shortlisted candidates will be provided with the benefits of government employees. They will also be provided money for the travelling and dearness allowance as well. The candidates for the post of ABPM will be responsible for activities such as the sale of stamps, delivery of mail, payments, deposits and other transactions of IPPB.
Dak Sevaks will be assigned similar tasks, including assisting Post Masters and helping in the smooth functioning of business in the dept. PO. There was age relaxation provided of 5 to 15 years to specific categories.

The merit list will have the names of the candidates who were able to score better than others; The selection will be made as per the minimum qualifying score mentioned to be scored by candidates as per their category.
The candidates can download the merit list and see what the highest score in specific categories is. The Assam Postal circle caters to a 30 lakh population. It comprises nineteen Head PO, 605 Sub-PO and 3383 Branch PO.
