TPSC JE Recruitment 2023

TPSC JE notification regarding the recruitment of fresh candidates has been released by the Commission. The notification informs about the vacant seats to be filled at the Junior Engineer post. The candidates will have to fill up the application form online on the official site of the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC).

We are glad to share that the Commission has 33% reserved posts specifically for women Junior Engineers. The application is as usually invited online from the citizens of India. The recruitment by the TPSC for various degrees: Civil/Electrical/Mechanical, will be on the basis of the Combined Competitive Examination Rules 2022.

TPSC Junior Engineer Notification 2023

The recruitment of the Junior Engineers will be under the Public Works Department for both Group B and Group C posts. The notification specifies the educational qualifications for the Junior Engineer for both Degree and Diploma holders separately.

The notification has distributed the posts as per the candidates who have a degree and those who have diplomas in the field of Engineering. There is a difference in the scale of pay. The notification has also tabled the reserved seats for women candidates at 33%. The direct recruitment of the candidates will be done keeping the mind the reservation for the UR, SC, and ST categories of the candidates.

Interested candidates should make sure to read the notification thoroughly. The age criteria for the Junior Engineer post are as follows:

The candidates should not be less than 18 years and should not have crossed the age of 40 years as on 26 December 2022. Moreover, The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has provided relaxation for 5 years to the ST/SC/ PH category.

TPSC Jr. Engineer Selection Procedure 2023

The selection procedure for the Junior Engineer post will be comprised of the following three stages.

1. The preliminary Examination will comprise the MCQ Type carrying 100 marks in total.
2. Those who will clear the Preliminary exam will be eligible to get a seat in the Main (written) Examination that will carry 500 marks.
3. The final round is the an Interview-cum-Personality Test bearing 50 marks will be conducted by the Tripura Public Service Commission.

TPSC JR Engineer Last Date 2023

The Junior Engineering advertisement by the TPSC indicates the important dates. The candidates should make sure to remain punctual to them. The application portal will open for the candidates at the end of November month. The exact date for the TPSC JE is from 26th November 2022.
