Assam SLET Application Form 2023
The SLET Commission of Assam is responsible for administering the exam to determine whether a student is eligible to work as an assistant teacher in one of the many colleges or universities in the northeastern states of India.
These states include Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, and Mizoram. Every year, many students submit their applications to take the SLET. Jalukbari, Guwahati-781014, is the location of the Northeast SLET, organized and run by the Assam SLET Commission.
Assam SLET Exam Date 2023
On the 19th of March, 2023, the SLET Exam will get administered at nine colleges around the northeastern states. This exam determines students who qualify to fill the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR positions at universities and colleges throughout the country and to ensure that teaching at the graduate and postgraduate levels adheres to a consistent standard across all states. The SLET Commission of Assam is responsible for administering the SLET annually. On the 27th of February, 2022, the SLET exam was issued for the previous year, 2022.
Paper 1 and Paper 2 are the two parts of the SLET Exam that students must complete. For students to have a chance of passing the exam, they need to be familiar with the contents of the Assam SLET Syllabus. Paper 1 is a compulsory subject, while Paper 2 is something the students selected for.
Assam SLET Fee 2023
Students who fall into the General category are required to pay Rs. 1200, students who fall into the OBC category will pay Rs. 1050, students who fall into the SC/ST category will pay Rs. 1000, and students who fall into the PWD category will pay Rs. 800.

Assam SLET Exam Pattern 2023
The Assam SLET comprises two papers: The First and Second Papers.
- Paper 1 consists of 50 multiple-choice questions with a point value of 2, for a total of 100 points, and the time limit is 60 minutes.
- Paper 2 consists of 100 multiple-choice questions with a point value of 2 each (for a total of 200 points), lasting for 120 minutes.
Two marks for each correctly answered question. There is no deduction for an inaccurate answer. Therefore, the best strategy for maximizing your score is to try as many questions as possible.
SLET Eligibility Criteria
Participants in the Assam SLET 2023 exam are only allowed if they satisfy the eligibility requirements outlined in the following paragraphs:
- Students must be residents of India.
- Students are eligible if they have a master’s degree and have scored not less than 55% marks.
- Students in the final year of their master’s degree in the year 2023 who will receive their degree before a predetermined date are also eligible to apply.
- Those with a Ph.D. degree whose master’s level examination ended by the 19th of September 1991 are eligible for a 5% relaxation in their marks.

How to Fill AILET Application Form Online?
Students can fill out the Assam SLET 2023 Application Form through the following simple steps:
- Go to the official portal at www.sletneonline.co.in.
- Save a scanned copy of the student’s certifications, a passport-sized colored picture, the student’s signature, and an attested photocopy.
- Submit your Master of Arts, Master of Science, or Master of Commerce certificate, mark sheet, and most recent photo and signature.
- Submit a copy of the SC/ST/OBC certificate or the PWD category certificate with the original signature of the authorized person.
- Pay the fee at any SBI branch.
- Submit the application form and get a printout of the Application Form submitted.
