There are more than 5 lakh students who appeared in the exam, and 760 from the specific district where the exam was cancelled. Due to the malpractices, the exam will re-appear in the compartmental examination. The official order for not evaluating the marks will be passed along with other notifications.
Assam HSLC English Exam New Date & Time
The secondary education board of Assam takes up the exams of the 10th class. After the cancellation of the exam, SEBA will announce the new exam dates. The exam is cancelled in the Cachar District of Assam, and many complaints are noted from the other districts. New Dates will be announced on the official website, and the schools will inform each student. Whether the admit card for the new exam will be issued or not will be updated further.
The investigation took action after the complaint from the local authorities that some students showed dishonesty in the exam, and after verifying their status, the paper leak information was charged. Many complaints were also received for the Maths exam that is held on 6 March 2023. There were rumours spread as the photos of the exam paper were circulated on social media before the exam. As per the local news, a student is caught red-handed using the mobile and receiving the answer through WhatsApp.
Rohan Kumar Jha, the deputy commissioner of Cachar District, assured the crowd that if there were questions found in the domain before the exam, then it could also be the case of a paper leak. The action against the student is taken up. There is no clearance regarding the leak of the paper.

The practical exam will be conducted after the theory exam on 24 & 25 March 2023. After the paper leak, authorities will make more strict security. The number of English exams is not evaluated. A new plan for the exam will be shared soon.
