Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council is going to conduct the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test on 23 January 2023 at the various test centres throughout the State, for the same the Admit Card is going to be announced on the scheduled date, aspirants who have applied and wish to appear in the examination can download the UPTET Admit Card 2023 after the official announcement @updeled.gov.in.
The test is going to be conducted on the scheduled date in order to check eligibility for the post of primary teacher and upper primary, online application for the UPTET 2023 was filled between 7 October 2022 to 25 October 2022, about 13.52 lakh candidates applied against the post of primary teacher and 8.93 lakh candidates have applied for the post of upper primary teacher.
Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 was firstly scheduled to be conducted on 18 November 2022, but the test had been cancelled due to the matter paper leak. After the cancellation of the test, the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council had announced that they will conduct the UPTET 2023 on 23 January 2023 and a new Admit Card will be available to download before the a or two week of Examination. Applicants who have been waiting for the new Hall Ticket of UPTET will be able to download it from 14 or 15 January 2023.

UPTET 2023 is going to be conducted on the scheduled date in two shifts, the first shift will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and the second shift will take place from 02:30 PM to 05:00 PM. The first shift will be conducted for Paper I i.e. to recruit the primary teacher from Class I to Class V and the second shift will be conducted for Paper II i.e. to recruit the upper primary teacher from Class VI to Class VIII.
The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 will be conducted in offline mode, all the candidates will visit the examination centre with the free bus service of the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. Candidates have to visit their respective test centres with a print copy of the UPTET Admit Card 2023 along with the basic documents i.e. PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Aadhaar Card or Passport.
