Aside from whatever denomination you consider to be “true” Christian, no Christian should wish for more bloodshed on one side or the other. I think that Russian kleptocracy, incompetence and low moral of its army are Ukraine’s biggest weapons.
After that it is the shrewd diplomacy and bravery of Zelenskiy and the brave resolve of the Ukrainians for their independence.
I think home turf advantage plays a big part. Russian soldiers don’t really know what they are doing there so moral is lower. And the cocky nature of Putin made them think they could finish the job in a couple of days so they only supplied a couple days worth of fuel and equipment a fatal error.
The operation was planned to last at the very least for 1 week, and at most indefinitely. going quick only leads to serious casualties. You don’t seem to have any idea of how these operations work, yet are very confident in what you say. I guarantee you’re a european. If putin wanted it done quickly, the country would have been decimated within 2-3 days with millions of casualties, yet as was stated many times, the goal is strictly military infrastructure with as few civilian casualties as possible.
Heck I would even argue that. There’s substantial evidence that *MOST* Russian soldiers didn’t even know this was happening. From evidence (interviews, text messages) that I’ve seen, a majority of the Russian soldiers didn’t think they were going to war. There’s evidence that the Russian soldiers just thought they were finally moving in to occupy. Not to face actual war. It doesn’t help that a majority of these troops are nearly children.

Russian military has no info from higher ups in their military. All they knew was that they were going through defense training and such. This can result in low moral specially if Russian army sees Ukrainian land as foreign land. So why should they fight for it if Ukrainians want to live their own peaceful life. The entire conflict is a result of 3 main factors.
1. Ukraine has continuously stated their desire to join Nato. This puts Russia in an extremely dangerous position and is a very serious threat to national security. This is despite Natos signed agreement to not expand beyond its 1991/1997 borders (which has since been broken and engulfed 13 new members). This along with Nato weapons pointed straight at Russia is guaranteed to start ww3. (Remember the Carribean crisis and how that played out?). Thus a demilitarization of the country is necessary to avoid a bigger conflict. Bonus point is America has built biological weapon research laboratories in ukraine and used specifically ukranian and russian dna in their attempt to create some horrific bioweapon.
2. Ukraine over the past 8 years has genocided 14,000 Russian civilians in the DNR and LNR regions. Despite many requests, threats and warnings, they did not stop. After their official recognition by Russia, an operation was carried out to liberate these republics from the Murderous nationalists.
3. It’s a nazi deep state. Hitler youth is present in the country, Azov legions and Banderas formations are rampant, and have strong ties to the military with many photos of ukranian soldiers seen with swastikas and other nazi symbolism. If this fascist scum is not erased now, in 10 years it could become a fourth reich.

The statistics are being updated as the war is new, the casualties are extremely vague, however it should be noted that typically an invasion force suffers heavier casualties in an initial and held back assault. Remember, typically the statistics don’t lie, it’s the presentation, although this is too early to tell a definitive head count.
One weapon, the US-made hand-held Javelin anti-tank missile, is devastating the Russian forces. Its shoot & run ability is perfect for Urban warfare. It also exposes the main weakness in Russian armor, a thin top plate with no reactive armor, as it goes over the target & fires down. Ukrainian forces are waiting for Russian armor to pass & attacking them in their blind spot.

There are more than enough supplies and manpower to conquer Ukraine 500 times over. Your calim of apparently “poor planning” has resulted in the destruction of 350+ units of ukranian military infrastructure ranging from command points, to airfield, air defense systems, ammo reserves etc. The entire point of the operation is to demilitarize ukraine. You and your western propaganda have yourself created this annexation narrative. Ukraine has a very poor economy, is very underdeveloped, full of nazis and extremists, is very anti-russian and has a meriad of other problems. There was never a goal of annexation, despite what you’re constantly told. Besides annexing Ukraine will literally nullify one of the reasons for the war which is to stop NATO from moving right to russian borders. Annexing Ukraine would move Russias borders to NATO, making the whole operaton pointless. You are most likely american since your geography is beyond stupid. Russia has had access to the baltic sea for decades, and Ukraine doesn’t even have access to the baltic sea? The closest Ukraine gets to the Baltic sea is 500km away.
So, doing a population-to-supplies ratio, which are usually decently closely related, Ukraine with ~40 million and Russia with ~140 million, so Russia is about 3.5 times larger, in population than Ukraine, even so 350+ military unit losses to Ukraine compared to Russia’s 1300+ military unit loss is a bigger ratio than the population, so just from those 2 statistics alone Ukraine is winning by a good amount. At this rate, Russia will have to pull back before Ukraine falls, and with Ukraine’s planning to join NATO Russia will be left very weak if it does continue, which I assume even someone who declared war would know when to pull back and the consequences.
Russia cannot now pull without Putin losing face amongst his own people. He could lose the next election by just pulling out of Ukraine. He wants the power his position supplies. He is not willing to give up until he has met his expectations.

Nato places missiles in ukraine, Russia places missiles in Cuba, venezuela or belarus, and this time, things will go far worse. Just want to say that the war we should be focusing on is the war at our borders in Texas. Our so called president is failing miserably. Putin has been wanting Ukraine for a long time and if he gets it it’s no skin off my teeth. Anyone who has fought in wars knows that talking it out would be the best idea. War is obviously hell. I am not a coward and I have guns and I train daily. I’m not a fan of Ukraine & have had first hand experiance of corruption in kyiv (kiev) vinitsa & odessa since 1994 – 2002 primarily. As an Indian you can see the stark contrast in how you are treated vs any caucasian/slav. So that is my bias/perspective of Ukraine.
Having said that I now see that Ukraine has exceeded my expectations of surrender or capitulation. The artilery barrage by russia has failed in its primary objective, the demoralisation of the Ukrainian soldier.
