UGC NET Admit Card 2023
The National Testing Agency (NTA) website will be with the UGC NET admit card 2023. This year’s university entrance examination will be held on 29th January 2023, 15th, 16th, and 17th February 2023. The admit card must be downloaded from the UGC NET exam website by candidates appearing for the exam in 2023. UGC NET Admit Card: How to Download?
On the UGC NET official website, candidates can download their NET hall tickets. Here are the steps:
- First of all, you need to go to the official website.
- Secondly, you need to find the link to download the NET admit card at the bottom of the page.
- Then click on the UGC NET Admit Card link and enter your Application Number and Date of Birth. You need to enter Captcha as well.
- In the fourth step, you will view your admit card on the screen. On the admission card, you will find the details of your registration.
- The fifth step is to download and print the admit card.
UGC NET 2023 Admit card
Download and bring the self-declaration form with the admit card to the examination center after downloading it from the official website. For the examination day, students should bring a simple, transparent ballpoint pen, additional photos to paste on the attendance sheet, hand sanitizer, a transparent water bottle, sugar tablets, and fruits for diabetic students.
No digital items will be there in the examination hall, such as mobile phones and smartwatches. The candidates who have filled in the application form to be eligible for the National eligibility test must continuously verify the hall ticket/admit card updates on the official website.
UGC NET Exam Pattern
There will be no break between Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the UGC NET paper, a computer-based test (CBT) in online mode. The first paper will consist of 50 questions, each worth 100 points, and take 1 hour to complete. For Paper-2, 200 marks will be for the answers to 100 questions. Also, the time limit for the completion of Paper-2 is two hours. It means that both exams will have a total duration of three hours.
UGC NET Hall ticket 2023
In addition to their UGC NET Admit Card 2022, candidates must bring the following documents to the exam hall to be verified.
1. A passport-sized photograph
2. Also, if applicable, a PwD certificate
3. One original driver’s license or voter ID, passport, or Aadhaar card with photo/Aadhaar enrolment number/Ration Card with a photograph) with photo (PAN card, driving license, voter ID, passport, or Ration Card).
UGC NET Exam Day Guidelines
Below are the instructions that candidates should follow.
- You must appear for UGC NET at the test center indicated on your admit card.
- NET candidates must appear only on the dates, shifts, and times indicated on their admit cards.
- Bring no gadgets to the exam hall, including mobile phones, calculators, etc.
- Eatables and water not be brought into the testing center.
- You must wear a face mask and carry a transparent bottle of hand sanitizer in your pocket.
On the day of the examination, candidates have to bring a copy of their online Admit Card and a photo ID. Also, incorrect attempts do not result in negative marks. Candidates have to attempt all questions.
Candidates have to report at the testing center two hours and thirty minutes before the exam start time and cooperate with the invigilating staff during the frisking process. Also, during the first session of the exam, students will not leave the room before 10 am, while at the second session, students will not leave until 1 pm.
UGC NET Exam Centers 2023
Two hundred twenty-four centers will conduct the UGC NET 2023 Exam in two shifts. Registration requires applicants to select four cities of their choice at registration. The candidate’s preference will be there into account in making the allotment. Also, if necessary, the examination will be in another city or a nearby center.
Candidates should obey the invigilators’ instructions in the examination hall and should not argue with them. All the examination halls would have a wall clock, so the candidates are not supposed to wear any watch to the hall. The use of calculators in log tables is not allowed.
