TS LAWCET 2023
Telangana State LAWCET is an entrance exam conducted by Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) to provide admission to the three-year and five-year integrated LLB courses offered by various universities and colleges in Telangana. Based on scores in TS LAWCET, the students get admission to numerous government and private law colleges in Telangana.

To apply for this entrance test, candidates have to pay a fee which will be used in organising the test and provide the best facilities which can be given. A fee of Rs 800 will be charged by the unreserved candidates, and Rs 500 will be charged by the students of SC/ST and other reserved candidates.
TS LAWCET Application form 2023
The TS LAWCET application form will soon be published on the authorised website of the TSCHE. Students should fill out the application form with all the asked details and submit it before the due date. The application fee can be paid either online through net banking, a debit card, and a credit card or offline through Challan.
When the application is submitted successfully, the students will receive an application number which they need to keep safe until the completion of the appointment process.
TS LAWCET Notification 2023
Telangana State LAWCET 2023 is a common admission exam conducted yearly by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). It is accomplished for entrance into three years and five years of LL.B studies offered in different universities and affiliated colleges across the state. The test is conducted in online mode and consists of multiple-choice questions based on general knowledge and current affairs.
The duration of the test is two and a half hours, and the highest marks are 120. This exam is accomplished in two languages that are English and Telugu. The syllabus for the entrance test comprises topics such as Constitutional Law, Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, and English. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility standards as specified by the TSCHE in order to be eligible for the test.
TS LAWCET Exam date 2023
The admission test is conducted in the month of June, but this time it is expected to be in July. The application process for the exam will begin in April, and the last date to register for the exam is usually in the month of April or May. The time of exam is 90 minutes, and the questions will be asked from three sections, namely General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs and Aptitude for the Study of Law.
The exam will be accomplished in online mode, where the candidates need to mark their answers on the Computer. The examination will have a total of 120 questions. Each question will carry one mark, and there is no negative marking. The candidates who qualify for the exam will be called for counselling. The counselling will be based on the rank obtained in the exam. The counselling process will include document verification, choice of college and course, fee payment and seat allotment.
TS LAWCET Eligibility 2023
The eligibility criteria for Telangana State LAWCET 2023 are as follows:
- Candidates must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board in India. The candidate should get a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PH category students).
- Students emerging for their 10+2 or equivalent exams in March/April 2023 are also eligible to apply.
- Students should have reached the age of 20 years as on 1st July 2023.
- Candidates belonging to Telangana Open and Telangana Other Backward Classes are eligible for the scholarship provided by the Government of Telangana.
- Applicants should have a valid score in the Telangana State LAWCET 2023.
The selection of the applicants is based on the marks obtained in the admission test.
Therefore, the eligibility criteria for Telangana State LAWCET 2023 include passing 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board in India with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates), attaining 20 years of age as on 1st July 2023 and having a valid score in the Telangana State LAWCET 2023.
