The Scram 411 draws inspiration from the Himalayan in terms of design. The unit is equipped with a circular headlamp, yet the unit’s appearance is somewhat different due to the cowl and the bezel. Scram’s tank is no longer attached to its headlight unit via frames, as was the case with the Himalayan. All of the jerry can holders have been removed to make room for the tiny tank shrouds.

The motorbike weighs 185kg dry, with the optional center stand, making it 5kg less than the Himalayan overall weight.

The same single-cylinder engine powers the Royal Enfield Scram as the Royal Enfield Himalayan, 411cc. It also provides the same power and torque ratings as the previous model: 24.3PS at 6500rpm and 32Nm at 4250rpm when combined with the same 5-speed gearbox.
