RBI Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern 2023
The RBI Assistant Exam Pattern for the Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam of RBI Assistant 2023 is as follows:
- Computers will be used to administer the exam.
- Objective-type questions will be asked.
- There will be 100 questions divided into three sections: English language, numerical aptitude, and reasoning aptitude.
- The RBI Assistant Prelims Exam takes 60 minutes to complete (each section for 20 minutes).
- There will be a 0.25 point reduction for each erroneous response, but there will be no loss for unanswered questions.
- The remaining portions will be in English and Hindi, except the English Language component.
- Because the Prelims Test is a qualifying exam, its results will not be included in the merit list.
RBI Assistant Mains Exam Pattern 2023
- The RBI Assistant Mains exam will be administered on a computer.
- Objective-type questions will be asked.
- Each section will contain 200 questions: English, quantitative aptitude, computer knowledge, general awareness, and reasoning ability.
- The RBI Assistant Mains Exam takes 135 minutes to complete. The time of each section has already been discussed.
- There will be a 0.25 point reduction for each erroneous response, but there will be no loss for unanswered questions.
- Other than the English Language portion, all other parts will be English and Hindi.
- Candidates who pass the Mains Exam will be invited to take the Language Proficiency Test, and their scores will be used to compile the merit list.
RBI Assistant Language Proficiency Test 2023
After the main online examination, a language proficiency test (LPT) will be given to those provisionally selected. As shown below, the language competence exam will be administered in the state’s official/local language. Candidates who do not speak the official/local language fluently shall be rejected.
Only those applicants who score sufficiently high in merit based on the aggregate marks of the principal online examination will be summoned for the Language Proficiency Test. The Bank will determine such value about the number of announced vacancies to be filled.
