Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham starrer Bollywood movie named ‘Pathan’ has managed to collect ₹45 crores so far on its opening day, that is, on 25th January 2023.

The star caste of Pathaan movie includes – Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ashutosh Rana, Dimple Kapadia, Siddhant Gheddmal and Salman Khan(Cameo Role).
The spy thriller movie is produced by Aaditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films and it is said to be contoured with IMAX cameras for the very first time. The movie is direction and screenplay in the movie is given by Director Siddhartha Aanand. The Cinematography is done by Satchith Paulose and it is edited by Aarif Sheikh.

The movie is made with an estimated budget of 250 crores Rupees and a total collection of 600 crores rupees is expected from the box office collection worldwide. The music in the movie is produced and given by Vishal Dadlani.
The Genre of the movie is Action, Thriller and Romance. and the run time of the movie is tentatively 146 minutes. Pathaan has been released in three languages – Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. There are total four songs in the movie and voices to those are given by singers like Shilpa Rao, Caralisa Monteiro, Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Ravjiani, Kumaar Vishal-Shekhar, Arijit Singh, and Sukriti Kakar.
Marketing and Promotion
On 2nd March 2022 – the star caste and directors conveyed the release date to the public. The first teaser of the movie was launched on 2nd November 2022 and the trailer was launched on 10th January 2023. The directors, producers and star cast decided on not to promote their movie due to ongoing controversies in India and also due to open death threats to actors and actresses by various leaders and the public at large.

The movie has collected 45-50 crore rupees on its very first day so far. The movie and staircase have received amazing and stupendous responses from the audience worldwide. Shah Rukh Khan has made a comeback after 4 years and it is anticipated that this movie will come out as hit and very successful movie by few of critics worldwide. The estimations have been made and it is clearly said that movie can make somewhat 175-200 crore rupees in the first week itself.
Pathan Movie Controversies
Controversies related to the ‘Besharam Rang’ song in the movie and it gave the movie more limelight by the people in India. People in India called to boycott the movie for the color of the bikini which was worn by Deepika Padukone in the song. In that song, the actress is wearing a saffron bikini and it cannot by digested by the Hindu Bhakts.
KRK on tweeter shared a video where the protestors of the movie has been seen wrecking the posters of Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in Alpha One Mall, Ahmedabad.
Paramhans Acharya, a Ayodhya-based saint also issued death threats to Shah Rukh Khan and also called him ‘Jihadi’. They have also menaced the theatre owners and said that they should not release the film in their theatres, otherwise they will burn their theatres.
Narottam Mishra, Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh has also presented his views regarding the song and said that the movie has been created with ‘Dirty Mindset’ .
Actor Abhay Deol, in his recent interview said that, “He’s not even surprised by seeing this happening as it has become a trend in India to Boycott Bollywood movies”.
Pathan OTT Release Date
There has been no official news regarding the OTT release date and on which platform it will be released circulated by the officials. But as per the rumours, the movie is said to be released in the third week of the March on Amazon Prime. The official announcement is yet to be made by the directors and producers.
