The much-anticipated Mercedes C Class car, which will arrive in India in 2023, has made its premiere. The formal introduction of the vehicle and the announcement of the vehicle’s pricing is scheduled for May 10. Known as the W206, the new C-Class is the sixth generation of the Mercedes-Benz brand’s flagship sedan. The C-Class coupe influences the S-Class sedan’s design, technology, and amenities.

A mild-hybrid technology with an integrated starting generator (ISG) system is included with all three engines, providing an extra 20 horsepower and up to 200 Newton-meters of torque. The petrol variant is said to get 16.9 kilometers per gallon, whereas the C200d achieves 23 kilometers per gallon. It is reported to be capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 7.3 seconds. The C300d model can sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in only 5.7 seconds.

Both C200 Progressive and C220d Progressive trim levels are available for purchase on the outgoing model, with Rs 49.99 lakh and Rs 51.72 lakh, respectively. According to industry estimates, the new model will cost roughly Rs 5 lakh more than the current model. Depending on the specifications, it is expected to be priced between Rs 55 lakh and Rs 60 lakh. The AMG-Line variant is expected to cost about Rs 70 lakh.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which will debut in 2023, will share its interior design with the S-Class. It is equipped with an MBUX-enabled 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is vertically stacked. Also included are a 12.3-inch digital driver instrument dashboard, adaptive cruise control, linked vehicle technology, a Burmester sound system, an electric sunroof, wireless charging, dual-zone temperature control, leather upholstery, electrically adjustable front seats, and more features and options.

Mercedes-Benz has also brought a C300, which is also available in a diesel configuration, to the market. This variation is equipped with the same diesel engine as the C220d, but it has been tuned to a greater level of performance. It has a maximum power output of 265 horsepower and a peak torque output of 550 Nm. The C300 is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.7 seconds, according to the manufacturer.
