Entertainment Weekly reported in February 2020, actor B.D. Wong announced his participation in Jurassic World 3: Dominion. It’s also no surprise that we’ll see more of Dr. Henry Wu, the original Jurassic Park scientist who’s become a significant character on the new trilogy — he even makes an appearance in the cartoon Netflix spin-off Camp Cretaceous, which references to his ethically dubious approach to dinosaur creation.
Jurassic World Dominion Plot
While the trailer suggests dinosaurs going amok and wreaking havoc on a vast scale, the film’s footage premiered at CinemaCon, giving us a better indication of what to anticipate. Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum are said to have appeared in the trailer, which shows Chris Pratt’s Owen being pursued by velociraptors and riding a dinosaur. It’s also rumored to have Dern’s Ellie attempting to get free from a dinosaur box, as well as the original three interacting with Owen and Claire, played by Bryce Dallas Howard.
Director Colin Trevorrow also hinted at the film’s themes at the conference. “The film will explore the issue, ‘Would you be safe if dinosaurs lived among us?'” he remarked. “And the answer is no,” says the narrator. Then it seems that this will be another action-packed edition in the series.
Trevorrow revealed how the film would connect all Jurassic films in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly. “To me, [Dominion] is the climax of one tale,” he said. Whereas the original Jurassic Park trilogy had a more haphazard approach, he said that Dominion would retrospectively weave them together as a single plot.
“When you got to the end of the Jurassic Park trilogy, it might not have been as clear in what the complete story of those three movies was because they were a little more episodic in the way that they were approached. When you watch Dominion, you feel like you’re learning how much of a story that first set of movies was and how everything that happened in those movies informs what eventually can happen in this.”
Jurassic World Dominion Budget
The third installment of this sci-fi adventure trilogy will pick up after the events of the previous installment. In the new installment, Isla Nublar has been destroyed, and dinosaurs are now wandering among humans, living and hunting. The Jurassic World Dominion is estimated to cost roughly 165 million dollars to produce (in Indian Rupees 1242 crores approximately).
According to the producers, the film will reveal if humans and history’s most terrifying monsters, dinosaurs, can coexist and determine the apex predator. According to the producers, it will also include terrifying action scenes, breathtaking visual effects, and never-before-seen dinosaurs.
