Education Qualification
- Junior Engineer (Electrical) – Electrical Trade Diploma from a recognized university or institute. These positions are also open to candidates with higher qualifications.
- Junior Engineer (Civil): Civil Trade Diploma from a recognized university/institute. These positions are also open to candidates with higher qualifications.
- Junior Engineer (Mechanical): A diploma in the mechanical trade from a recognized university or institute is required. These positions are also open to candidates with higher qualifications.
Important Dates
- The deadline for submitting JSSC applications is January 23, 2023.
- The deadline for submitting JSSC job applications is February 22, 2023.
Age Limit
As of the application deadline, applicants must be between 35 and 40.
Salary
According to the Jharkhand State Pay Matrix Level 6, the monthly compensation of a Jharkhand Junior Engineer ranges from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 112,400/-.
Application Fee
The General category requires a fee of Rs. 100/-, while SC/ST candidates must pay a fee of Rs. 50/-.
Selection Process
The Commission will conduct a computer-based test (CBT).
The test will happen in two stages: (a) the Main Examination and (b) the Supplementary Examination.
