DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment 2023

On 11th February 2023, the Office of the Director of Elementary Education (DEE) uploaded an official notification PDF regarding the DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment 2023. As per the official notification, a total of 5320 vacancies have been issued for the post of Assistant Teachers. Of 5320 vacancies, 3887 are for the Lower Primary (LP) Schools, and the remaining 1433 are for the Upper Primary (UP) Schools. The online application submission procedure has been started from 17th February 2023.

The Payscale offered by the Office of the Director of Elementary Education (DEE) are as follows:

1. For Lower Primary (LP) Schools:-

• Monthly Salary- ₹14,000/- to ₹ 70,000/-
• Pay Band-  2 (PB-2)
• Others- allowances as admissible based on “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019

2. For Upper Primary (UP) Schools:-

• Monthly Salary- ₹14,000/- to ₹ 70,000/-
• Pay Band-  2 (PB-2)
• Others- allowances as admissible based on “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019

Required Documentation for the DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment 2023 is as follows:

• A Scanned image of the signature and a current passport-size photograph.
• Admit Card of Class 12th
• High School Leaving (HSLC) certificate and mark sheet of Class 12th.
• Caste Certificate
• Domicile Certificate of Assam
• Certificate and mark sheet of applicant’s degree.
• Other mark sheets and certificates of higher education.
• Marksheet and certificate of B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. (1st Year and 2nd Year)
• Marksheet and certificate of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET).
• NCC Certificate of category B & C only and Sports & Cultural if the applicant has represented the state at National Level.
• Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.
• Authorised Enclose certificates of disabilities, if any, from the government.

• First, go to the official Office of the Director of Elementary Education (DEE) web portal dee.assam.gov.in.
• Next, scroll down to the ‘How do I?’ section.
• In that section, click on the link named ‘Recruitment of Regular Teachers of LP and UP Schools’.
• After that, complete the procedure of registration and login/sign in to the web portal.
• Select your choice of post.
• Fill out the complete application form and add the required documentation carefully.
• Now, press the submit button.
• Make the application fee payments
• Lastly, press the download button and save a copy of the application form for further recruitment stages.

DEE Assam Teacher Application Last Date 2023

According to the official notification posted on 11th February 2023, the last date or deadline to submit the application forms for the DEE Assam Teacher Examination 2023 for both Lower Primary (LP) Schools and Upper Primary (UP) Schools is 1st March 2023. Moreover, the application fee is ₹200/- for the unserved categories and ₹150/- for the Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST), and Below Poverty League (BPL) categories.

DEE Assam Assistant Teacher Eligibility 2023

1. For Lower Primary (LP) Schools:-

• Age Limit- 18 to 40 years
• Educational Qualifications:-

(i). A minimum of 50% marks in class 12th.

(ii). Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or class 12th passing certificate with a minimum of 45% marks.

(iii). Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations 2002.

OR

Senior Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent.

(iv). Two-Year Diploma in Education

(v). Must have cleared Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET).

2. For Upper Primary (UP) Schools:-

• Age Limit- 18 to 40 years
• Educational Qualifications:-

For Science Teacher (UPS)-

(i). A Bachelor’s degree in Science

(ii). Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education

OR

Two-year Diploma in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/ (Special Education)

OR

Two-year Diploma Education (D.Ed.)/ (Special Education)

(iii). Must have cleared Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) in Mathematics and Science.

For Assistant Teacher (UPS)-

(i). Must have cleared graduation from a recognized university.

(ii). Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education

OR

Two-year Diploma in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/ (Special Education)

OR

Two-year Diploma Education (D.Ed.)/ (Special Education)

(iii). Must have cleared Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET).
