CBSE Syllabus Instructions

• The academic period for Class 10 is split into two terms, with about half of the material covered in each term.
• It was agreed that the Class 10 Term 2 Exam for 2022-22 will be administered based on 50 percent of the curriculum.
• Efforts will increase the credibility and validity of the internal assessment, practical work, and project work.
• Teachers in schools will continue to provide instruction through remote learning until the authorities allow for in-person education in schools.
• Internal evaluation in Classes IX-X would comprise the three periodic assessments, student enrichment, portfolio, and practical work/speaking listening activities/project (which would take place throughout the year, regardless of Term I and II).
• Schools would develop a student profile for each assessment conducted during the year and save all of the information in digital format for future reference.
• The CBSE will make it easier for schools to submit their Internal Assessment results to the CBSE IT platform.
