CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023
As I mentioned above the Central Board of Secondary Education has published an official notification on it’s official website i.e. cbse.gov.in related to the scholarship scheme for the Single Girl Child, the notifications are not for the eligible candidates as well as institutions that are affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education.
Through the official notification, CBSE has requested Principals/Heads of the CBSE Affiliated Schools to verify the online application of Single Girl Scholarship 2022 Using the official website of Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. @cbse.gov.in by 31 December 2022 to 25 January 2023.
Single Girl Child who has passed the 10th examination with CBSE affiliated schools can apply for the scholarship from 27 December 2022 to 17 January 2023.

Central Board of Secondary Education provides Single Girl Child Scholarship to Single Girl Child who have passed the 10th examination having minimum of 60% marks with CBSE Affiliated school or institution, CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship was introduced by Central Board of Secondary Education in 2006, since then the scheme is active and running.
Note: Single Girl child means a girl who is the only child of their parents and there is no brother or sisters.
Single Girl Child Scholarship Official Notification
In the official notification CBSE has mentioned that “From this year, schools are requested to process the application of their students as per guidelines
issued for this scheme. Schools are requested to go through the guidelines of the Single Girl Child Scholarship
X-2021 available on CBSE website.”
Candidates who are eligible can apply online for the Single Girl Child Scholarship and the schools will verify the application forms of the students of their school.
CBSE has a Scholarship portal wherein the schools may login and verify the applications of single girl children.
