When the film was released in September 2020, the creators will disclose that Prabhas has been cast in the part of Lord Rama and that Saif Ali Khan. Who previously appeared as a villain in Om Raut’s directorial Tanhaji has been cast in the role of Ravana, who will be known as Lankesh. In the film, Sunny Singh plays the role of Lakshmana, Lord Rama’s younger brother.
It was revealed in November 2020 that Kriti Sanon had been cast in the female lead role. The producers confirmed the decision to include Kriti in the film four months later, in March 2022.
